Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are appointed to identify, anticipate and prioritize emerging issues; analyze the impacts and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to address and resolve the concerns.
  • They’re also appointed to provide strategic leadership as the single point of contact and by leading the development and implementation of multi-faceted policies, complex projects and diverse committees with a wide range of internal and external parties. 
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to manage Arts & Culture resources, including consultants and full-time contractors, funding and civic assets.
  • They’re required to make recommendations to Senior Leadership including the General Manager’s Office, Directors Offices and Offices of the Councillors related to ongoing project updates, trending issues, risks and opportunities.
  • Candidates are appointed to prepare and present reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • They’re required to manage Arts & Culture resources, including consultants and full-time contractors, funding and civic assets.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain a degree in Arts, Fine Arts, Science, or Commerce and at least 5 years of experience in policy development, relationship management, strategy development and project management to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must be masters in a related discipline and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 360, Microsoft Teams, Adobe, and Webmail to be eligible for this post. 
  • They’re required to access personal vehicles for business use and a valid class 5 license to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must attain experience working in the Arts and Culture sector or non-profit sector to be preferred for this post.
  • They must acquire experience in the Chinese community to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must attain practical experience with diverse types of governance models, capital and program management and client negotiation experience. 

Work setting 

  • They must attain strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills that are essential for success to be preferred for this post.
