Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to develop and schedule lifeguarding and water safety programs applied for this post.
- Candidates are also required to develop and administer promotions and advertising related to programs and special events.
- They’re also accountable at this post to supervise, train and provide leadership to staff.

- People applying for this post are required to conduct presentations in schools, and for community groups and volunteer associations as required working at this post.

Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must have completed grade 12 and must be actively working towards graduation from a recognized college or university-level program in a related discipline to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be a qualified Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Trainer, BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders, National Lifeguard Instructor, or Trainer of Fitness Leaders to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have formal lifeguard and instructor training, aquatic programming experience, and completion of a pool operator’s course.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a lifeguard and/or swim instructor and/or aquatic supervisor and aquatic programmer to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have a National Lifeguard – Pool Option and Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certificate to be eligible for this post.
