Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to repair & inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner.
- They’re appointed at this post to operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities & on public roads working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must attain possession of a clean driver’s abstract/record.
- They must be able to lift 70 lbs. unassisted and must be able/willing to work evening and/or night shifts.
- Candidates must ensure that No accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have strong organizational skills and must attain strong troubleshooting skills.
- They must pass a pre-employment road test and must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- People applying for this post must attain possession of a Red Seal 310T apprentice and a 310S apprentice license.
- People must obtain possession of essential trade tools and equipment to be eligible for this post.
Work Setting
- Candidates will get monthly union dues and a one-time $50 initiation fee.
- They’ll also have to be exposed to hot/cold temperatures when working indoors and outdoors.
