Job description
- Candidates will manage and maintain Automated rates in an Accounting system.
- They will do creation of monthly accruals.
- They will do preparation of variances with explanations and presenting findings to Managers and Directors.
- They will manage inquiries from both internal and external sources.
- They will analyze and maintain accurate information in a complex business environment to help ensure reliable financial reporting for decision making.
- They are accountable for communicating and working closely with various teams such as Finance, Category Management, Merchandising and Operations.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have University Degree or Post-Secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- They must have professional accounting designation or currently enrolled in advanced stages of a professional designation program (an asset but not required)
- They must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills through previous experience in financial analysis.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to review existing work, design, and implement processes to improve productivity of the organization
- They must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
