Job Description
- The candidate will be required to estimate repair costs.
- The candidate must inspect and test engines in order to diagnose and isolate faults.
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system components.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance and service.
- The candidate will be expected to advise customers on work performed and equipment condition.
- The candidate must review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
- The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in other trades or have equivalent experience in Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician, Small engine mechanics and repair technology/technician, Motorcycle maintenance and repair technology/technician, and Mechanic and repair technologies/technicians, other.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification as well as a Motorcycle Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
Experience and specialization

- The candidate must be skilled in motorcycles, watercraft, and all terrain vehicles (ATV)

- The candidate must have a basic security clearance.
- The candidate’s driver’s licence should be thoroughly checked for validity.
