Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed as technical and maintenance personnel in the airline industry.
- They’re also appointed to keep an eye on detail and safety working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have possession of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License to be eligible for this post.
- They must have proven technical aptitude with a minimum of 2 years experience or endorsed on Boeing 737 or Q400, or an equivalent type of aircraft to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a broad range of experience including electrical, navigation, and flight controls to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a positive and passionate personality, with the natural ability to effectively communicate with others to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have strong troubleshooting and time management skills and the ability to make safe or sound decisions and procedures to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a mature approach to work by taking ownership and responsibility if stressful situations should arise.
- They must attain the ability to recognize one’s mistakes and learn from them.
- They must have excellent ability to multitask & handle changing priorities under extreme pressure, excellent communication and organizational skills to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have strong computer skills using various Maintenance programs and Microsoft Office Applications.
- They must attain the ability to lift to 50 pounds, as well as, climb, kneel, and crawl frequently in tight spaces to be eligible for this post.
- They must be medically fit to wear all safety equipment including respirator apparatus and ensure flexibility to work shift work and overtime.
Work setting
- They must be able to travel when required, i.e. base coverage or rescue trips and must be able to pass a criminal background check to be eligible for this post.
