Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to support the BC Centre for Agritech Innovation’s (BCCAI) position as a partner of choice and promote research and innovative product development opportunities working in this post.
  • Candidates working in this post are required to focus on expanding industry partnerships and supporting translational research opportunities and innovation in the agritech sector.
  • Applicants working at this post are responsible for establishing and managing a diverse portfolio of relationships leading to client-centric, strategic account management working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • They must have completed a prior master’s degree in agriculture or agrifood sciences, engineering, or computing science to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants for this post must have relevant discipline with 5 years of related experience in strategic account management, business development, new product development, innovation, and partnership to be preferred for this post.
  • Applicants for this post must know the agricultural technology sector and academic and industry innovation cycles.
  • Applicants for this post must have excellent interpersonal, listening, communication, and relationship management skills to be preferred for this post.
  • They must attain the ability to work with various external clients with competing interests, and with divergent groups to bring about positive change and facilitate consensus.
  • Applicants must have proven ability to successfully pitch new business and increase revenue by generating leads to get preferred for this post.
