Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to monitor service provisions or outcomes and ensure compliance with contracted and funded agencies.
- Candidates are also appointed to implement and lead quality assurance reviews and operations reviews.
- They’re appointed at this post to identify service providers that require additional support and program oversight.
- Candidates are appointed to lead the design/delivery of a variety of funding programs to meet the needs of the city and contracted agencies.
- They’re also appointed to participate in the design and preparation of various funding programs and related public information.
- Candidates are also appointed at this post to analyze and make recommendations based on current trends and projections of future needs.
- Candidates must represent the division or the city in meetings and initiatives with other funders, community stakeholders and other levels of government.
Job requirement
- They must have post-secondary education in community development, social work, social policy, and public administration.
- Candidates must have considerable experience in the development and administration of grant programs to be eligible for this post.
- They must have experience in the measurement and evaluation of programs related to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to participate actively within multi-stakeholder programs ensuring effective, time-sensitive service delivery.
- Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain the ability to work within an anti-oppression framework, including familiarity with the sociology of large and complex urban areas with an ethno racially, linguistically, and economically diverse population.
