Job Description
- Applicants working in this post are appointed to develop and deliver health-related education programs.
- Applicants are also required to group counselling and respond to crises including suicide ideation.
- They’re appointed at this post to meet administrative requirements concerning correspondence, statistics, activity reports, and attendance working at this post.
- Applicants for this post are required to train non-medical employees with the self-administration medication process.
- They’re also appointed at this post to provide professional nursing services for clients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- They’re required to match treatment services to the client’s unique circumstances.
- Applicants are also required to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team within the organization at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must possess two years equivalent FT experience in working with vulnerable populations to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants for this post must have prior knowledge of and experience in working with individuals engaged in addiction recovery and treatment to get preferred for this post.
- They must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with individual and group counselling along with a minimum of 1-year of nursing experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must be registered and licensed to practice in Manitoba with a Bachelor of Nursing (BN), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse to be eligible for this post.
- They must have prior organizational skills, and the ability to work independently along with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills to be eligible for this post.
