Administrative Team Lead

The City of Edmonton has released a notification in which they’re inviting candidates for the post of Administrative Team Lead. They will monitor and manage staff performance, conducting ongoing performance evaluations, recommending performance management actions, and implementing performance management programs as directed. They supervise staff in the completion of diverse administrative tasks to support the needs of the Branch. They support the recruitment and onboarding of permanent and temporary staff.

Job description

Job requirement

  • Candidates must complete grade 12 or equivalent OR completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college.
  • They should have a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory and diversified word 
  • They should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a focus on collaboration.
  • They must be excellent in verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • They must have considerable knowledge of modem office practices, procedures, and equipment.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have the ability to maintain moderately complex records and to prepare reports from such records.
  • They must have the ability to effectively handle sensitive information using discretion.
  • They should have knowledge of time management and organisational skills.
