Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for analyzing clients’ financial records.
- The candidate must ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
- The candidate must prepare financial data for individuals, departments, or companies.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing reports and audit findings.
- The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
- The candidate must make recommendations for improvements to accounting systems and management practises.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act, and other statutory requirements.
- The candidate must prepare income tax returns using accounting records.
- The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and examining financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
- The candidate must analyze financial documents and reports.
- The candidate must examine accounting records.
- The candidate must provide financial, business, and tax advice.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
- The candidate will be responsible for keeping financial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
