Job Description
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to work in all types of weather along with the availability to be on-call working at this post.
Work setting
- start your day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries
- ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
Experience in customer service
- Experience making deliveries or working as a driver.
