Job Description
- Candidates who apply for this post are required to perform routine daily maintenance checks on trucks.
- They’re also accountable for loading and unloading products to and from the truck, ensuring the accuracy of orders working at this post.
- Candidates who apply for this post are required to drive safely and defensively, obey provincial motor vehicle rules and regulations and maintain drive relations in line with the company’s public image.
- They’re appointed to provide friendly, courteous service and make deliveries generally made on the sunrise shift.
- Candidates are appointed to typically work a 4-day week of 10 – 12 hours each day working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have high school plus 6 months of related work experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Applicants must attain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have to be very physical for lifting in and out of trucks.
- They’re also accountable for re-organizing and balancing the day spent driving and working at this post.
