Job Description 

  • Candidates who applied for this post are accountable for ensuring that development applications can accommodate parking and loading by coordinating their requirements during the development review process.
  • People accountable at this post to assigns to staff, prioritizes and track the review of traffic impact studies/development applications, and provide quality control working at this post.
  • Candidates are accountable at this post to represent the Division at developer/consultant meetings, community meetings, various committees and Community Council working at this post.
  •  People who applied for this post are also appointed to prepare evidence and provide expert testimony at the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Toronto Local Appeal Body working at this post.
  • Applicants are also accountable at this post to implement detailed plans and recommend policies/procedures regarding program-specific requirements working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain a post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Engineering, Transportation Planning or a related discipline from a recognized university or technical college to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates interested at this post must attain s prior knowledge of the planning and development control processes and municipal administration and procedures to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must attain the ability to plan, direct and review the work of staff and must have dedicated knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations to be eligible for this post.

Work setting 

  • People applying for this post must attain the ability to represent the Division at community meetings, various committees, and Community Council to be eligible for this post.
