Job Description
- Candidates are responsible for overseeing Apprentices in specific disciplines.
- People accountable for this post are required to supervise and oversee their work working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to submit hours/paperwork required for their apprentice certifications to the trades board.
- Candidates are required to periodically report on apprentice progress both in the field and in classes and support apprentice with online classes if required.
- They’re appointed at this post to ensure safety policies and guidelines are adhered to by apprentices during their period of training working at this post.
- Candidates are appointed to support and develop best practices for training. Along with this, they’re required to assess techs’ strengths and areas of opportunity to help coach and train.
- Candidates are also appointed to help develop strategies to support continual growth and skills development with the apprentice working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed High School/GED along with dedicated 3+ years of working experience to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have effective communication and must be required for project management to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the facility location ownership along with the ability to lead the team to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must hold a valid Refrigeration / Electrician / Plumbing / Appliance Journeyman level license to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Candidates must be able to perform follow-up assessments and training of new Techs after they have been in the field for a given time.
- Candidates are also accountable for instructing, overseeing, correcting and supporting their assigned Apprentice working at this post.
