Job Description
- Candidates are accountable at this post to prepare information for files and reports with respect to matters relative to the Inspection Services Section working at this post.
- People who apply for this post are also accountable for investigating HVAC-related complaints, taking legal action and appearing as witnesses in court working at this post.
- Applicants who apply for this post are required to present a professional, positive, knowledgeable, and conscientious image to the public at all times working at this post.
- People who applied for this post are appointed to work in coordination with other Building Division staff, other City departments, and external agencies working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to work under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Mechanical Inspections applied for this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must be an HVAC tradesperson or designer with a minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in HVAC design and construction to be eligible for this post.
- They must attains work experience in plumbing design and construction to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates for this post must be proficient in the reading and interpretation of drawings, specifications and other technical documents to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle is essential to be eligible for this post.
