Armstrong-Springwater Limited based in 3242 Crossland Road, Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0 is inviting is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Warehouse Shipper who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift timing include Day and Early Morning (04:00 to 12:00.)

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in similar industry.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain inventory for transport and monitor efficient loading and unloading of all stock.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing order stock and overseeing the loading of all shipments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper completion of all purchase orders and sales orders for the transaction.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep flow line materials in good condition and to replenish all devices as needed.
  • The candidate will be expected to inspect stock items on a regular basis and report any defects to the supervisor.
  • The candidate must maintain and document all damaged stock handling machines.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage and prepare inventory control system records, as well as manage inventory flow.
  • The candidate will be expected to ensure that company standards are followed when storing goods.
  • The candidate will be expected to evaluate new inventory, identify any errors, and communicate with the merchandise manager in order to initiate appropriate action.
  • The candidate must maintain and document all damaged stock handling machines.
  • To initiate appropriate action, the candidate will be required to communicate with the merchandise manager.
  • The candidate would be in charge of shipping system packaging, daily component packaging, and customer customization order filing within the delivery and packing system
  • The candidate would be in charge of scheduling orders and ensuring the accuracy of packaging products such as double boxing and palletizing.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing all order forms and receiving invoices in accordance with company policies..
  • The candidate will be expected to manage all stock entry for shipment, check merchandise temperature, and set the date.
  • The candidate will be expected to help unload all stock and store it in the warehouse.
  • To identify any discrepancies, the candidate will be required to evaluate inventory and perform a physical count of stock.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform all domestic and international shipping activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the packaging and stocking of all finished goods.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with delivery personnel and ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • The candidate would be in charge of responding to customer inquiries and providing information.
  • The candidate will be required to track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • The candidate will be required to coordinate and provide support with employees and other department to resolve shipping and packaging issues and matters.
  • The candidate will be required to maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
  • The candidate will be required to provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
  • The candidate will be required to compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
  • The candidate will be required to scan shipping module barcodes into the SAP system for record keeping.
  • The candidate will be responsible for processing returns for items that are incorrect or unsatisfactory.
  • The candidate will be required to handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
  • The candidate will be responsible for communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for receiving and inspecting external packaging of all incoming shipments. Notifies delivery personnel of any apparent shipping damage and proceeds accordingly. Reviews incoming packing lists and logs and routes to receiving inspection area.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.

  • The candidate should have prior experience with Dollies and hand trucks.
  • The candidate should be able to operate pallet lifters.

  • The candidate will be required to work in Retail, wholesale establishment or distribution centre.

Own Tools/Equipment

  • The candidate must have a cell phone.

Transportation/Travel Information

  • The candidate must possess a valid driver’s licence.
