Job Description

  • The candidate will be in charge of cattle training.
  • The candidate will be in charge of handling animals.
  • The candidate will be in charge of monitoring animal health.
  • The candidate will be in charge of reining.
  • The candidate must demonstrate horse preparation.
  • The candidate will be in charge of weaning.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to create work schedules and procedures.
  • The candidate must ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • The candidate must keep livestock performance records.
  • The candidate must be able to recognise and treat certain livestock health issues.
  • The candidate must select livestock for sale.
  • The candidate must be able to train horses.
  • The candidate will be in charge of keeping work records and logs.
  • The candidate will be expected to carry out general farm duties.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
