Job Description 

  • Candidates who applied for this post are required to build and maintain relationships with Indigenous nations and organizations and other key partners working at this post.
  • They’re also required at this post to prepare contribution agreements with Indigenous partners, contributing to furthering Indigenous-related projects working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in a field related to the position to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have graduated with a degree or diploma from a college or university with a specialization in a field relevant to the position to be preferred for this post.
  • They must attain prior experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have experience liaising and collaborating with staff and partners along with dedicated knowledge of emerging trends and current issues related to Indigenous Relations in Canada to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must attain knowledge of Treaty, Indigenous title and cooperative management principles, practices and issues to be eligible for this post.
  •  Candidates must attain the ability to consult and work collaboratively with Indigenous nations to get preferred for this post.
  • They must attain the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships.
  • Applicants must attain the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team to be eligible for this post.
  • They must ensure the ability to analyze issues and opportunities, assess implications, and develop creative solutions to get preferred for this post.

Work setting 

  • Applicants are required to ensure willingness to reside in an isolated post working at this post.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to ensure the willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform working at this post.
