Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are required to lead and supervise a team of Bylaw professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
  • They’re also appointed to oversee Bylaw Enforcement operations and other relevant initiatives applied for this post.
  •  Candidates are also required to monitor program effectiveness and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary to meet community needs and objectives.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to research, plan, and implement initiatives to optimize the City’s response to issues such as distressed properties, recovery homes, graffiti, etc.Applicants are also appointed to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws and regulations through proactive enforcement measures and public education campaigns working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have a dedicated diploma in a related field combined with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar work environment to be eligible for this post.
  •  They must have a minimum of 2-4 years of team leadership experience along with dedicated previous experience in bylaw enforcement, community policing, or related fields.
  • Candidates along with excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are considered as an asset for this post.
  • Applicants must attain the ability to analyze complex issues, develop effective solutions, and implement strategies to achieve objectives.

Work setting 

  • Candidates must have dedicated experience in supervising/managing staff in a unionized environment to be eligible for this post.
