Farm supervisor

Job Description
- The candidate must hoe crops.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must pick stones and/or wood.
- The candidate must perform vegetable culling.
- The candidate must hire and train staff.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include chicken farming, layer poultry farming, other poultry farming, sheep farming, mushroom farming, and poultry and egg production.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.
- The candidate’s relocation expenses will not be covered by the employer.
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience operating feeding and watering systems, fertilizer applicators, and tractors.
