Job Description

The candidate will be required to prepare production and other reports.
The candidate will be expected to supervise employees and projects.
The candidate will be expected to plan and coordinate activities.
The candidate will be expected to supervise apprenticeship training.
The candidate must train or arrange for training.
The candidate will be responsible for setting up machines and equipment.
The candidate will be required to estimate costs and materials.
The candidate must ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
The candidate must make recommendations for personnel actions.
The candidate must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
The candidate will be expected to supervise painters and decorators, drywall installers and finishers, apprentices, and labourers.
The candidate must be well-organized.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work setting

Work settings will include construction, installation, repair, and restoration.
The candidate’s relocation expenses will not be covered by the employer.
The candidate will be required to work in Commercial, Industrial, and Residential settings.
