Job Description

• The candidate will be expected to inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcing components, as well as direct the placing of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• The candidate will be expected to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must level the top surface concrete according to the grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must apply the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate will be expected to waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate will be responsible for repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp and dusty conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
