Job Description
- The candidate must notify the supervisor or mechanic of any equipment malfunctions.
- The candidate will be expected to operate and feed various machines.
- The candidate will be expected to set up, maintain, and repair machinery.
- The candidate will be expected to inspect products for defects and ensure that quality standards are met.
- The candidate will be required to operate a variety of machines to bleach, dye, coat, or finish fabric, thread, yarn, or other textile products.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in French language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be accurate.
- The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work Site Environment
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must be able to work in hot conditions.
Experience and Specialization
Type of Yarn and Fibre
- Yarn and fibre materials include wool, cotton, fabric blends, and synthetic fibres.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with spooling, winding, and twisting equipment, warping machines, carpet printing and dyeing machines, electric cutting knives, finishing machines, and shearing machines.
