Job Description
- Candidates will have to work under the guidance and direction of more experienced workers in the trade.
- They’re also appointed to develop and apply learned job skills through a combination of on-the-job learning and in-class instruction.
- Apprentices shall be trained in accordance with the prescribed apprenticeship program of the Ministry of Labour.
- Candidates will learn and apply skills to perform a wide range of duties of the trade.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain previous experience in motor vehicle repair as an asset.
- They must attain previous experience in automotive garage work as an asset.
- They must attain the knowledge of standard methods, tools, and equipment used in the automotive mechanic trade.
- Candidates must be able to learn new skills in a timely manner.
- They must obtain the skills to operate within a computerized Fleet Management Information System.
Work setting
- At least 1 years of wiring experience in mechanical or machine work proceeds are required for being eligible for this post.
