Job Description

• The candidate will be required to transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers.
• The candidate will be expected to operate, maintain, and clean pumps, filters, and other aquaculture equipment.
• The candidate will be expected to clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate should be flexible in nature.
• The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
• The candidate should be dependable.

Work Setting

• The candidate will be required to work in Mussel sites (land/barge).

Type of Fishing

• The candidate will be expected to clean and repair mussel collectors.
• The candidate will be responsible for socking and harvesting mussels.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
• The candidate must be able to work in and on water.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

• The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.

• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
