Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to suppress a fire beyond the initial attack until so far as it is under control working at this post.
- People who apply for this post are also required to extinguish a fire after it has been deemed under control working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must have completed 18 years of age or older to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid Driver’s Licence and must be able to speak English to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates applying for this post must be legally entitled to work in Canada and are also required to have a valid Social Insurance Number.
- Applicants must possess an SP100 Wildland Firefighter Training course to be preferred for this post.
- People applying for this post must possess Standard First Aid and possess the WFX-Fit Test to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have the physical ability to meet the demands of fire suppression activities and must be able to work in a team environment in stressful situations to be considered as an asset for this post.
