Job Description
- The candidate will be required to adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- The candidate will be expected to inspect and test mechanical units in order to identify faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate must inspect motors in operation, road test vehicles, and test automotive systems and components.
- The candidate will be expected to adjust, repair, or replace truck-trailer system parts and components.
- The candidate will be expected to diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with the supervisor in order to determine whether the unit should be repaired or replaced.
- The candidate will be expected to test and adjust repaired systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
- The candidate must review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be accurate.
- The candidate should be dependable.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate must be punctual.
Work site environment
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Experience and specialization

- The candidate must be knowledgeable about engine repair, 4-wheel drive, diesel engines, brake system, hydraulic system, fuel and emission system, automatic transmission, standard transmission, welding, truck-trailer repair, and front end components.
