Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a degree/diploma in the area of performing arts, RCM Grade 10, to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a performing arts education and be able to teach the fundamentals of music.
- People applying for this post must be able to assess the age appropriateness of lessons and materials to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have provided instruction on a variety of genres and must have strong communication and interaction with participants to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain solid interpersonal skills and must attain effective problem-solving skills.
- People must attain the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- People must attain teaching experience in performing art education as well as an understanding of child development, particularly in the areas of musical expression.
- They must have a current Emergency First Aid with a CPR certificate to be considered as an asset for this post.
