Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for administering medications.
  • The candidate must apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing.
  • The candidate must collect specimens.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
  • The candidate must monitor nutritional intake.
  • The candidate must take vital signs.
  • The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • The candidate will provide nursing services to patients within a defined scope of practice based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate healthcare team members.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have completed the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination and have a First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be dependable.

  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible.
