Job Description
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on the route.
- Candidates applying for this post are also required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must attain a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day.
- Candidates must attain the ability to work in all types of weather.
- They must ensure the availability to be on-call and must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be considered as an asset for this post.
