Job Description

  • The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
  • The candidate must cut grass.
  • The candidate must rake and collect trash.
  • The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for watering and maintaining plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate must be punctual.
  • The candidate must be hardworking.
  • The candidate must be mature.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
  • The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and hot conditions.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, which is the art and profession of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe, and attractive, usually in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.
  • The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
  • Work setting offers horticulture and/or gardening.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience operating small engine equipment and a weed trimmer/edger.

Area of work experience

  • The candidate will need work experience in landscaping.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about lawn care.

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.
