Job description

  • Candidates will prepare, research and coordinate the submission of materials and documentation in preparation for grievances related to recruitment.
  • They will provide general advice regarding the interpretation of collective agreements.
  • They will review with the HR Manager, Recruitment & Attendance and Employee relations (ER).
  • They will plan and participate in job fairs and community outreach events related to recruitment.
  • They will consult with Compensation Associates/Consultants in Human Resources where appropriate.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must coordinate the various presenters and manage the schedule. 
  • They must develop materials for and deliver the HR portion of the orientation and training program.
  • They need to work with managers to identify career paths for current staff.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have the ability to work with managers to assess successful candidates’ training needs, the resources necessary to meet these needs.
  • They should possess the capability to manage the new employee orientation program for Food Services. 
  • They ought to have an ability to work with directors, managers to ensure attendance at the sessions.
