Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are accountable for spending most of their day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on route working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be eligible for this post.
- People must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and must have experience in customer service to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have experience in making deliveries or working as a driver along with the availability to be on-call to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French to be considered as an asset for this post.
