Job Description

  • The candidate must coordinate access and use of computer networks.
  • The candidate must install software.
  • The candidate must maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • The candidate must evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing problem-solving services to network users.
  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for setting up local area networks and internet connections.
  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing network traffic and security monitoring software, as well as optimizing server performance.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

  • The candidate should work as a computer hardware or software retailer/wholesaler, and retailers make a living selling the latest laptops, desktops, upgrades and gadgets by purchasing products at wholesale prices and selling them to consumers at a higher cost.
  • The candidate must work in both the telecommunications and computer and related equipment manufacturing industries.
  • Work settings provide information technology (IT) infrastructure services.
