Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for addressing and documenting symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
The candidate must perform a disease screening.
The candidate must deliver health education programs.
The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
The candidate must engage in nursing-related research activities.
The candidate must operate or monitor medical equipment or apparatus.
The candidate will be expected to provide consultative services on issues pertaining to the nursing profession and nursing practice.
The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising licenced practical nurses and other nursing personnel.
The candidate must perform administrative tasks.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate, be eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province/territory of work, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
The candidate should be accurate.
