  • The applicant should have a minimum secondary (high) graduation certificate qualification.

Experience Requirements

  • The competitor should be a minimum work experience of 2-3 years to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

  • The competitor can prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
  • The applicant should mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using a hand trowel to attach tiles to drywall or flooring.
  • The competitor can set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • The competitor can align and straighten tiles.
  • The aspirant should cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power-cutting tools.
  • The applicant must pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • The candidate must remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • The competitor can lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative walls, murals, and floor designs.
  • The candidate should build under beds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets.
  • The applicant must be able to cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • The competitor can install tile strips.
