Job Description
- Candidates will have to develop and implement a nursing plan of care.
- Candidates will also have to work in collaboration with the child/family and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Candidates will have to maintain clinical competence and knowledge base through continued education and life-long learning.
- They’re appointed to utilize evidence-based practice as a base in the promotion of professional accountability.
- Candidates will have to provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing care.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a baccalaureate degree and/or Diploma in Nursing.
- They must attain completion of an operating room nursing program required.
- Candidates must have registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
- Candidates must obtain experience in pediatric nursing and attain excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- They must attain proven problem-solving and organizational skills and the ability to work under minimal direction.
