Pickleball instructor 

The City of Surrey has released a notice of hiring the eligible applicants for the post of Pickleball instructor. Persons who are eligible and willing to join this post can apply for this post. They’re responsible for planning and leading weekly pre-registered pickleball programs for youth and adults as well as supervising and facilitating learn to play drop-in sessions. Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are required the experience in playing or instructing pickleball to beginners and intermediate recreation players in a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Applicants are also required to model appropriate behaviors and demonstrate sound judgment while creating a positive, enthusiastic & fun environment working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required at this post to adapt to varying on court skill levels, have an engaging and enthusiastic personality with a professional manner working at this post.
  • Applicants are also required to report safety hazards and respond to First Aid incidents as they arise working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Applicants working at this post must have NCCP Coaching Certification Level 1 or higher to be eligible for this post.
  •  Candidates must have Current First Aid and CPR/AED Certificate to be considered as an asset for this post.
  • Applicants must have Previous Coaching experience and a dedicated Police Information Check/Vulnerable Sector Check to be eligible for this post.
  • PHCD for Older adults is mandatory to be eligible for this post.
