Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to operate cash register
  • The candidate will be expected to help with merchandise display.
  • The candidate will be required to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
  • The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • The candidate must prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts and accept payment by cash, check, credit card, or automatic debit.
  • The candidate must be able to use computerised inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • The candidate will be required to provide advice about merchandise.
  • The candidate will be required to pack store items onto shelves.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure that the store is clean, safe and in order.
  • The candidate will be expected to effectively resolve and handle customer issues.
  • The candidate will be required to handle merchandise in a safe and secure manner in a store.
  • The candidate must weigh, label, package, and prepare products for billing and delivery.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep inventory records.
  • The candidate must remove expired or out-of-date items from the shelves.
  • The candidate will be responsible for restocking shelves and display areas.
  • The candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service.
