Job Description 

  • Candidates who applied for this post are required to maintain strong team players, focused on providing great customer service working at this post.
  •  They’re also required to be self-motivated and can take initiative with little supervision working at this post.
  • Candidates who have applied for this post are responsible for the licensing paperwork, communication with staff and supervisors, staff mentorship, and great customer service.
  • Applicants are also required to maintain great communication with the ability to work with people of all ages.
  • They’re required to be highly organized and applicants are also responsible for providing Before and After Care participants with an active, safe and stimulating environment to develop social skills and general well-being working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must be at least 19 years of age and must be able to provide care and mature guidance to children to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have completed a course, or a combination of courses, of at least 20 hours duration in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition to be preferred for this post.
  • Applicants must have a completion of Grade 10 supplemented by some relevant experience in community service work to be preferred for this post.
  • Applicants must have an equivalent acceptable combination of training and experience.
  • They must acquire a high-five certification or an acceptable equivalent along with current Emergency First Aid and CPR-C/AED certificates to be eligible for this post.

Work setting 

  • They must attain the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program participants, volunteers, staff, and the public to get preferred for this post.
