The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The open positions pertain to the Permanent employment or Full time job. Job Description

• The candidate must calculate the cost of travel and accommodations.
• The candidate will be responsible for handling reimbursement in the case that transportation and hotel reservations are cancelled.
• The candidate must recommend appropriate products.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising clerical staff or other travel counsellors.
• The candidate must sell travel products and travel insurance.
• The candidate must provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions, and special events.
• The candidate will be responsible for handling cancellations and schedule changes.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing contact lists.
• The candidate must make accommodation and transportation reservations using a computerized reservation and ticketing system.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing travel information to clients, including destinations, transportation, lodging options, and travel costs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset.
• The candidate must be certified by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate should be accurate.

Work setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work for a travel agency.
