Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for arranging the bar area to create attractive displays.
The candidate will be responsible for organizing the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
The candidate will be responsible for short-order cooking and food preparation.
The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the bar area and washing glassware.
The candidate must serve food or snacks.
The candidate must advise on wine selection.
The candidate must provide recommendations for drink selections.
The candidate must schedule staff.
The candidate must train staff.
The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment for beverages.
The candidate will be responsible for recording and balancing beverage sales.
The candidate must store beverages and food products.
The candidate will be responsible for ordering bar stock, maintaining inventory, and controlling bar stock.
The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.
The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers.
The candidate must be able to handle conflict situations.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
Candidate having experience is an asset.
The candidate will be required to have the Serving It Right Certificate
The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
The candidate must be well-organized.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.
The candidate must have a positive attitude.
