Job Description
- The candidate will have to answer the call 911 and make the citizens calm and involved in stressful and potentially life-threatening situations.
- Candidates will be responsible for coordinating emergency responses to situations requiring the combined presence of fire.
- Candidates will have to provide instruction or direction to callers when required.
- Candidates will have to monitor police pursuits and gather information to assist the supervisor and the police officer involved.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must have completed grade 12 or an approved equivalent combination of education.
- Candidates must have eligibility to work in Canada. Candidates must have a social insurance number.
- Candidates must have superior communication skills to deliver information concisely.
- Candidates must have 20/40 (uncorrected) and 20/30 (corrected) Vision.
- Candidates must have completed the 32-week intensive training program.
Work setting
- Candidates with an age less than 18 years are not considered eligible for this post.
