Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are required to supervise Instructors, volunteers, clerical and junior staff.
  • Candidates are also appointed to assist in the development of promotional material of the activities working at this post.
  • Applicants are also required to maintains the program area and equipment safe, clean and hazard-free at all times working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have completion of Grade 12 and some post-secondary education from a recognized institution to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have 2 years related experience including supervision in cultural work or area of specialty or an equivalent acceptable combination of training and experience to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have an emergency First Aid Certificate and CPR C Certificate to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting 

  • Applicants must have strong planning and organizational skills and dedicated work experience within a cultural organization.
  • They must have prior understanding of Performing Arts Programming in a Community Centre setting to get preferred for this post.
