Job Description

• The candidate will be required to purchase general and specialised equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess the establishment’s requirements.
• The candidate will be expected to create specifications for the equipment, materials, and supplies that will be purchased.
• The candidate must invite tenders.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• The candidate must award contracts or recommend contract awards.
• The candidate will be required to create delivery schedules.
• The candidate will be expected to monitor the progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate will need to contact clients and suppliers to resolve issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
