We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. The open positions are for Term or contract or Full time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning and Morning.

Job Description

  • The candidate must provide bedside and personal care.
  • The candidate must administer medications.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in water (i.e. pool).
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with bathing and other personal hygiene activities.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
  • The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
  • The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
  • The candidate must be able to mend clothing and linens.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
  • The candidate must provide companionship.
  • The candidate must provide personal care.
  • The candidate must go shopping for food and household supplies.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cooking.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Fluency in Filipino is an asset.
  • The candidate must have Geriatric Certificate, CPR Certificate, Certificate of Conduct, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • The candidate must be punctual.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
