Job Description

  • The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
  • The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
  • The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
  • The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate must have Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification, Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification, Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification, Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement, Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).
  • The candidate should be accurate.
