Shoppers Drug Mart #203 is situated in Penticton, BC and is hiring a Sales supervisor – retail to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment – Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Education Requirements

• Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience Requirements

• Must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Required to supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.).
• Ability to assign sales workers to duties.
• Ability to hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Required to order merchandise.
• Effectively sell merchandise.
• Required to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Ability to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
• Proficiently organize and maintain inventory.
• Required to supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
• Proficiently manage cash.
• Required to conduct performance reviews.
