Risk Control Canada is located in Yellowknife, NT X1A 0C1. The company is currently seeking applications for the role of Guard, Security. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and assume their responsibilities as soon as possible. The open positions are for Permanent employment or full-time jobs. The timings of shifts may be Day, Night, Weekend and Shift.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must hold a Class 5/5F/G Licence (for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles), as well as a CPR and First Aid certificate.
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be punctual.
  • The candidate must have a positive attitude.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.

Investigative expertise

  • The candidate has investigative expertise in using and monitoring closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems for surveillance purposes.

Type of experience

  • The candidate has experience in audio-video surveillance and corporate building security.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in the field of automobile driving.

  • The candidate should undergo a thorough criminal background check.
